Joyful and engaging workshop presented by master percussionist, Gary ‘Juju’ Garlic. His dynamic performance style garnered him tours with musical legends like Stevie Wonder! This super-star will have students writing poetry to percussive rhythms and learning multiple rhythm types based on their individual abilities. Teamwork is encouraged with collaborative poetry paired with their selected rhythms. After building their percussive poetry routine each group closes this workshop with an opportunity to perform for their peers while Gary cheers them on!
