Join OpenNorfolk for one last community stitch at The Plot - a craft lesson and live entertainment by local celebrity Q5.
Sign up to reserve your spot in the bow and bowtie making class. Sonya Z is a 757 fashion designer and sewing instructor.
Students will learn:
1) threading a needle
2) stay stitch
3) overclocking straight stitch
4) tying off
5) each step of making a bow

Join The Suited Movement 757, JoJo’s Wings 757, Birdie's WINGS, and Miscelanyus & Friends this Saturday at The Plot for a toy and coat drive! For every new or gently used coat or toy donated, you’ll get a ticket for FREE WINGS from JoJo’s!

Bundle up, mask up, and get ready for a night of holiday. . . . TERROR? Seven Cities Dance presents the NEON Krampusnacht! Costume contest, performances, music, photos with a Krampus and old world tradition combine for a night of socially distanced holiday fun.
The TFK Taco Bar will be out serving up taco-flavored joy to the world all night, so don’t be late!
Capacity is limited to ensure social distancing requirements are met, so come early to avoid the standby line.

Public Art Tour
Join tour guide and local history buff Joshua Weinstein of Norfolk Tour Company for an afternoon spent among the NEON District's many public artworks. Get your NEON fix through an art tour live and in person with Josh's insider knowledge, dry wit and encyclopedic history. Meet at The Plot on Sunday, November 15 at 3:00 p.m.
***This will be a limited in person tour. Please register in advance. Max capacity will be 25 attendees. We ask that guests not attending together remain 6 feet apart from other guests and Josh. Although an outdoor event, we strongly encourage all guests to wear a mask.

Paint and Stitch at The Plot
It's a great day to make some art at The Plot!
Volunteers needed for a community painting project to beautify our downtown arts district! All supplies, PPE and snacks provided -just bring your energy and a friend and be a part of the art!

Plus, no Push Comedy Theater Halloween event will be complete without our costume contest! This year’s theme is MASKerade. The highest marks will go to those who can incorporate their COVID mask into their costume!

Registration: Suggested $8 donation, with at least 25% of the proceeds benefiting the the Elizabeth River Trail Foundation (and 2% to Eventbrite for processing fees). Only paid registrants will be allowed admission to ensure the necessary small class size for the safety of students and teachers. Class size is limited to allow for at least six feet of distance between mats. Attendees must provide their own mat and any props. We encourage attendees to wear masks before and after class while in proximity to other people.
Additional details: In order to ensure a no-contact experience, please do not print your registration confirmation. Instead, please have your email confirmation or a screenshot of your confirmation available on your phone to show upon entry if requested by the teacher. Children are welcome to practice with their families at Bhav classes but must be registered in advance. Any families may have their mats close together, as long as there is at least six feet of space (about a yoga mat’s length) between a family unit and other practitioners.
Safety: Please attend classes only if you have no signs of illness, have been practicing physical distancing and wearing masks when in spaces around other people, and not living or spending time with anyone who is immunocompromised.

VSO Musicians Virtual 5k and Celebration!
Join the Musicians of the Virginia Symphony Orchestra for our first 5k event! Lace up your running shoes to support live music in your community! This musician-organized event is a fantastic opportunity to support the heart of the Virginia Symphony Orchestra: the musicians themselves. To keep us all safe, the race aspect of the event will be virtual, but we invite you to join us for live music at The Plot (776 Granby Street, Norfolk) on Saturday, Oct. 24th from 1:00–3:00pm!
How it works:
Register online for the event (all participants will receive a t-shirt following the event, plus a Vivace-themed Spotify playlist, optional Digital Bib & Finisher's Certificate)
Complete your race on your own time, at your own pace. All levels of participation are welcome! Run your favorite route, enjoy a leisurely fall walk, or try one of our suggested routes (see registration link). Share your time/results on our event page if you so choose. Digital bibs and finisher's certificates are available as well!
Join us at The Plot! VSO Musicians will be performing live music at The Plot on Saturday, Oct. 24th from 1:00–3:00pm. You can time your run to end at The Plot, you can complete your run any day/anytime in advance and join us for the music, or you can register for the t-shirt and not run at all...we won't tell

We are encouraging students to please wear a mask to class until they are settled on their mat. As students are moving they are welcomed to take their mask off and flow freely. When students are leaving class or excusing themselves we will again please ask for masks to be worn to ensure the safety of our fellow yogis
No one with a fever or symptoms of COVID-19, or known exposure to a COVID-19 case in the prior 14 days, is permitted in to practice.
To ensure we are following all state guidelines we are limiting the number of attendees. Please obtain your spot via the ticket link. We must ensure we are socially distanced to 10+ feet apart and this will ensure we are capping the class accordingly to meet state guidelines.
We are not providing any rental mats at this time, however we will have hand sanitizer stations at all events.
